My book is free on Amazon until tomorrow. Please check it out and let me know what you think! Dear Diary: Teaching Students to Love Journaling

Recently I found the wonderful website Goodreads.com Besides writing, I love to read! Since I was a kid, I have been a voracious bookworm. This website is awesome! There are quizzes to take about your favorite books, groups to join, and you can check in to see what your friends are reading. I have just started exploring this site (it also has an app for the iPhone), but so far, I've spent lots of time playing around. I've already bought several books based on some of my friend's recommendations. If you haven't signed up already, you should check it out. Be sure to find me and add me as a friend! I have also made my request to be a Goodreads Author. Hopefully, that will be approved and set up in the next few days. See you there and have fun reading!

New Teacher Titles

I've been working to get my self-publishing off the ground. I have published some of the works I have written in the past. They are now available on Amazon.com. Both of these new guides are for teachers (specifically in the elementary grades). They are based on some of the classroom practices I found to work for me. I have plans for more to come in the next few months (hopefully before school starts). These guides are available at a bargain price which will be raised soon. I'd appreciate any suggestions, comments, or feedback you might have.

Do you really want a horse?

Ever since I was a kid, I dreamed about having a horse. Not a single one of those dreams involved mucking out stalls, unloading a trailer of hay, or picking burrs out of a tail. Maintaining a horse takes much more than one realizes. I highly suggest that you spend some time with a horse owner before you make a purchase and observe some of the tasks that are involved with a horse’s daily care. After you see all the work and expenses that are involved, you may rethink your decision to buy a horse.

Making Your Dream Come True

People often dream of owning a horse. What should you do when you are ready to make that dream into a reality? Buying a horse is much more involved than just running down to the local pet shop. Every horse person can tell you horror stories about bad horse sales. In this book, I want to give you some helpful tips that can help you avoid becoming one of these horror stories and end up with the horse of your dreams. Many of these bad situations come from dishonesty. Although this dishonesty unfortunately often comes from the seller, many times the buyer is the dishonest party. Before you even start to look for horses, you have to do some serious soul searching and make sure that you are absolutely honest with yourself about your answers.

Horse for Sale: Tips for Buying Your First Horse

I’ve recently jumped into the world of self-publishing thanks to Amazon. This is my first venture and I would sure appreciate any feedback you might have. I found myself giving this advice to several friends who were looking to buy their first horse, so I decided I’d try to put it into a tangible form. (Can a digital version be considered tangible?) I’d sure appreciate reviews!
